Dissaproval

Brooklyn could feel eyes on him as he walked for the school, and he heard whispers coming from behind hands. Students looked at him with disgust and dissaproval as he passed them, just looking ahead, walking into teh library with one of his sketchbooks and pencil cases.

Fergal was in the liibrary and was hiding his tearful eyes in a corner. He'd heard all the whispered, what they were saying about Brooklyn.

Brooklyn only cared about what they were saying about Fergal. He walked to a section of the library and his eyes spotted Fergal. he walked to him, gently putting a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, you okay?"

Fergal looked up and tears sprang to his eyes, he turned, wrapping his arms around Brooklyn from where he sat, burying his face into Brooklyn's stomach.

"Hey..." Brooklyn said softly, putting a hand on the back of Fergal's head and then kneeling down, hugging him.

Fergal buried his head in Brooklyn's neck, shaking.

Brooklyn held him close, stroking his hair, "It's okay..."

Fergal clung tighter onto Brooklyn. "I'm sorry..."

"Shh...what about? You've done nothing wrong. nothing at all."

"It's my fault...it's because I'm so young that they're...they're..." Fergal pressed more into him. "They're being mean."

"They're not saying it because you;re younger, they're saying it because I'm older," Brooklyn said softly, kissing his forehead. "ignore them. It's not your fault what so ever."

"But...Brooklyn...is it wrong/"

"That depends on what your opinion is," Brooklyn sighed softly. "Some people think that it is, but it isn't, not unless one of us is being hurt by it." He pulled back slightly and looked at Fergal,gently stroking his cheek, "If we were older, three years wouldn't be so much of a difference. There is nothing wrong with it, unless you are unhappy with it."

Fergal's eyes widened. "no! I'm not unhappy!"

"Then there's nothing wrong with it," Brooklyn said softly, hugging Fergal close.
